Looking to live

So looking for a place to live is probably the most stressful thing in the world. Even more stressful than planning the wedding. We are hoping to move into an apartment, in a nice area, with 1 bed and 1 bath. I just want to feel safe and have our own space. I want to be able to make it our own which is pretty much impossible when you cant paint. If anyone knows of any apartments that you live in or that your friends live in and are very reasonably priced, please let me know ASAP!!

I have some friends that live in the apartments across from where I used to live on power and guad. I think the ones they live in are government run sorta so it depends on your income as to how much you pay for rent..I think.. but they are really nice and in a good area. I want to say they are called the groves..but i'm not 100 % sure. The ones that I used to live in Sonoma Landing are really nice, we moved in on a special so our rent was only 740ish for 2 bed 2 bath but i think regularly it is 940. I don't remember what the pricing for the 1 bed 1 bath was. But I really liked the area that they were in. It was really nice and I always felt safe! :]

The apartments we use to live in were in a nice neighborhood and pretty cheap. They are on Gilbert and Juniper (between guadalupe and elliot) We had a 2 bed 1 bath for 700 a month!!!

You can usually paint walls, you just have to ask management. That's what I did. You can have my apartment...we are trying to move into a new place. Our apartment complex is really nice and its on Stapley and the 60...so pretty much close to everything. 1 Bed/1 Bath and only 600 month. It's awesome.

Glenn and Afton's apartment on 101 and Apache(main street) is super cheap. I think between 450 and 550. Its called coral point. Its right by the light rail, ASU and MCC if you need to go to any of those places.

we love where we live and we got a good deal on it. 1 bed 1 bath. its about 714 with utilities. they were built in 2006 so they aren't old. they are on val vista and pecos across the street from costco. we live in the azul apartments but there is a complex next door called borrego that is exactly the same. anyway, let me know if you are interested.

I'm a friend of Katrina's and stopped by your blog & saw you were looking for a place to live. I don't know if you are still looking, but we are renting out our town home and it is 3 bed/2 bath at Recker&Brown and it is cute(at least I think so!) Let me know if you are interested!

You can find some really good ones. Most apartment complexes will let you paint the walls IF you paint them back to the "standard" color before your move-out walk through or opt to forfeit your security deposit as trade for them repainting to standard for you. Some places (like ours) even GIVE you the physical paint instead of just the brand and color when you move out.
