Well, it all started when I saw a commercial telling me that I can get in FREE on my birthday to none other than the happiest place on earth, DISNEYLAND!! This was not an opportunity I was going to miss out on. Luckily,, my bestie, ERIN SHUMWAY, was the lucky one to accompany me on this lovely trip.

We left February 26th at 3:45pm when we both got off work. Everytime I go to California, it's required that I stop for gas half way in Blythe at a station called "The Flying J". I dont know why I like that place so much, its filled with truckers and it's always always busy, but none the less, we stopped. After filling up with gas, we headed back out on the road, but Erin got distracted by this little cutie in an expensive car and hit a massive pothole in the middle of the road that clearly, was big enough to fit an average sized person in it... i'm telling you, ITS HUGE!! After the hit, I noticed her hub cap flew off and I told her to pull over immediatley so I can check to see if she gave herself a flat. So, the pothole is HUGE remember... we definatley had a flat. We pulled into the service station but they couldnt get us a tire because they only had trucker tires. SO.. I decided that I was going to change our tire to the spare when, THE NICEST STRANGER ever, asked if he could help. We didnt catch his name, but i'm telling you, he was so awesome. He pulled our tire off and told us the tire was fine, but we bent our rim. So he said he had a hammer in his truck, went and got it, pounded the dent out so it was perfect, the asked the station if we could fill up our tire with air. The tire had a minor slice but was still holding air, so he fixed us up and hugged us and we went on our way. THANK YOU MR. TRUCKER FROM THE FLYING J!! YOU SAVED OUR LIVES!!

After that incident, I took over the wheel and drove us safely, without distraction, to California. We stayed in a classy motel called, "The Good Nite Inn". Haha! It actually wasnt terrible.
Okay, February 27th, my day of birth. We woke up around 6:00am just because we needed to stop at a tire place and get a new tire. We knew ours held air, but we were not comfortable driving 6 hours with a slice in our tire, its not safe. So thats how my morning started. After that was all fixed and done, we headed to the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!

Disneyland is beautiful. I love California. Everyone is always so excited and so happy at the park. We met so many nice people in line and so many people who were also celebrating birthdays. Ive never been wished "happy birthday!" by so many strangers in one day. It definatley made me feel so good inside! We started off with a few pictures at the castle, then made our way to different rides. Indiana Jones is MY FAVORITE, and guess what... I got to drive the car. Its so much better in the front, if you didnt know!!!

Waiting in lines was not the best, but atleast Pocket Edward was there to keep me entertained..

Erin is such a good friend. She made us reservations at the Blue Bayou!! If any of you don't know what that is, it's the resturant inside the Pirates of the Carribean ride. Its super yummy, super expensive, and you need reservations. They were so sweet there, they even brought me a desert with a candle in it!!

So, I was kind of sad that I didnt see a single princess anywhere!! However, I did see tigger and take a picture with him!!

I also saw Fairy Godmother!! Erin took this cute picture of her telling me that I should always wear that crown because I am a princess. It was sweet. Yes, she's holding my hand!!

But by far, the best birthday gift I got all day, was...
RYAN CABRERA!!

Erin spotted this birthday gift. For those of you that know Disneyland, this is how it happened. Erin and I were clear over by Pirates, when she said.. "theres Ryan Cabrera!" I stopped dead in my tracks, my heart sank, and I nearly keeled over but once my knees regained their strength, we followed him. We folled him across Adventureland, across main street, all the way to the Space area. He went into the bathroom and YES, we waited outside for him. Then I got some courage and asked, "Ryan, will you take a picture with me??" He was sooooo sweet!! He put his arm around me, wished me a happy birthday, and posed for this perfect picture. I didnt shut up about Ryan ALL DAY! I love him!!
Thank you Erin for spending the entire day with me! I had the best birthday ever!!
