Wedding Details!

Sorry I haven't blogged lately, this might be long but it'll be very informative! Wedding planning and work has been filling my time. Wedding plans are going wonderful. Hopefully things will be as perfect as they are seeming to be so far. I've found the cake and am so excited to see the finished product. April Goff is the one making it for me, you can see her work at www.designercakesbyapril.blogspot.com! She is seriously amazing and her cakes are so flippin yummy! Also, my wonderful neighbor Shellene Garner is designing my invitations for me! I had my heart set on this one invitation and she was able to exceed my expectations and make them spectacular! Thanks so much Shellene! I've decided on flowers and what I want everything to look like and September just cant come soon enough. My mom has been so wonderful through this entire thing and I am starting to believe that she is just as excited as me, but I could be wrong. This is pretty stressful for her too. Thank you mom for putting up with me being a BRIDEZILLA and making my dream wedding reception come true. Funny story, today I told my dad I needed a deposit for my cake and I told him the whole price and he about peed his pants. I dont think it has hit him yet that i'm getting married until I started asking for large sums of money. haha! :) I'm not going crazy but there were a few things I am not going to skimp on. Sorry daddy, you'll love it in the end! Incase you didnt know, the colors are BLACK, and WHITE, with hints of my favorite color... YELLOW!! Its going to be so glamorous!

Getting married in the Temple is something i've been dreaming about since I was little. It's something that I always knew I wanted someday, even when I wasnt being the best kassi I could be. Its been something I knew ONE DAY I would get and I was never going to marry someone who wasnt worthy of it. But now it's coming quick and I am so grateful I have found a man who is not only an amazing person, but is a man of the Lord. He has an amazing testimony of Christ and of our faith. I couldnt ask for anyone more faithful than Logan. He makes me want to be better and more faithful each and every day and I am beyond excited to spend eternity with him! All my life, i've been searching for him and I am ecstatic he has finally found me and wants me as much as I want him!

Ive also been taking temple prep classes for sunday school and WOW, they are amazing. Sister Fuchigami is the teacher and there is only 1 other person in the class with me, Aaron Webb, hes preparing for a mission. Sister Fuchigami is AMAZING! She prepares wonderful lessons and gives us tons of talks and information on topics about the temple every week. She gets me more and more excited about the temple every sunday! Last week in particular, there was a quote she read by Boyd K. Packer that really hit me. It says: "When you come to the temple and recieve your endowment, and kneel at the altar to be sealed, you can live an ordinary life and be an ordinary soul -- struggling against temptation, failing and repenting, and failing again and repenting, but always determined to keep your covenants...then the day will come when you will recieve the benediction: Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things. I will make thee ruler over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy Lord. (Matthew 25:21)" I know Im not the only one who struggles with temptation and reading this really comforted me. I feel so lucky to have the Savior in my life and that I get to participate in such a holy act as entering the temple. I hope that everyone who reads this knows how much our Savior loves you. I have a sign in my bathroom that i got a long time ago in young womens that says "you are one of God's greatest creations" and I want you to know, even my friends of other faiths that are reading this, that God loves us all. It doesnt matter who we are or what mistakes we have made, He loves us and wants to be with us again.

Logan and I are so excited to be getting married! Its so hard to say goodnight at the end of the day. He also just got a new job which requires him to wake up at 330AM every day so if he does come over or I go there, he is gone by 8pm and I usually dont get off work till 7pm so we aren't going to be seeing much of each other for the next few weeks. We REALLY want this wedding to hurry up and come faster! I cant wait to start our life together. If you dont think i have your address and you want an invite then please comment or email me (kassinator15@hotmail.com) so I can be sure to include you on our special day. Also if anyone knows of any good deals on houses in Gilbert, please share the love and let me know!
